Coach Emmanuel Agbor alias Alabas toasted a first victory as Buea United,BUFC, head coach as his side sealed a 3-0 victory over Continental FC in Buea derby.
It was the first victory for the newly recruited coach who had suffered a 1-0 defeat in his first game after his appointment.
The Mountain Boys started the game in an unconvincing way with Continental having the better of chances in the first segment but failing to concretise them.
When play will resume in the second segment, with just seven minutes in to the half, Buea United got their first goal at the 52 minute after Oscar Ikomi Essombi headed home the curtain raiser to give Buea United FC the lead.
With a 1-0 lead, the boys of coach Alabas maximised their efforts and five minutes later got a penalty . The penalty was converted to goal after Bosten Mofa Mofa sent the ball at the back of the net.
Showing so much steam like they have never shown before, the Mountain Boys would in the 67th minute of the increase tally.
This was after Emerant Motutu Junior Ndive put the icing on the cake with his sublime strike to hand coach Alabas his first victory.
It was also the second victory for Buea United FC in the Southwest Regional championship after a series of draws and a defeat.
Speaking to the press after the encounter, BUFC coach Emmanuel Agbor thanked the Almighty God for the win and also his supporters for the support so far.
He went forward to promised to do everything possible to see that during his four-year mandate at the helm of Buea United FC he turns things around.
