Coach Agbor Emmanuel aka Alabas has told his developing charges not to take the foot off the gas after putting Fussa to the sword at the Omnisport Annex Stadium in Limbe on Sunday.

Ngolle Laintex Epoge’s strike in the dying minutes handed Buea United a 3-2 away win in the southwest regional league.

Finding the right formula has not been an easy task for President Kadji Valery’s lads across all competitions this term.

Defeats on the road perhaps unforgivable but points dropped at home set the alarm bells ringing.

However they had the desired effect on the day against a side suffering from a crisis of confidence.

Buea United enjoyed a spell of possession in the opening moments of the game and deservedly race into the lead when Mofa Bosten caught the host defense napping.

As the game developed Fussa grew in confidence and belief and they leveled the scoring from the spot at the stroke of halftime.

Chances were few and far between in when presented both sides failed to land the decisive blow.

However, the tempo of the contest switched twenty-five minutes from time when Buea United grabbed the second to further state a case for a playoffs berth.

The homeside refused to give up without a fight as they pushed for the equalizer with ten minutes remaining.

With parity restored both sides went for the killer end. Ngolle Laintex Epoge’s struck with a volume of impeccable technic to bag maximum points.

Coach Agbor Emmanuel said after the game that his charges are slowly getting their swagger back and urged them to finish the job next week when they face EEMSA in Tiko.
