HO Academy FC of Buea gaffer Serge Bokagne believes the chances of his side qualifying for the Mini Interpools are still in their hands.

The club that was considered as group favourites after their splendid show at the Cup of Cameroon playoffs lost two of their first championship games.

Playing the Southwest Regional League for the first time, HO Academy FC was beaten in their first two games by Buea United FC and Prisons FC Buea.

Despite this, Coach Serge Bokagne said his side continued working harder and they were finally rewarded with a win against Dynamic FC.

With three points now in the bag, Coach Bokagne believes that the group is still open as they can work their way to the top of the table.

“Our secret has been to keep working hard after we failed to win our two games. With the win today, I believe that our chances of qualifying for the next round (Mini Interpools) are now open,” Coach Bokagne said.

HO Academy FC of Buea is now fourth with three points and will face Continental FA with 9 points that are currently first in the group.
