Issa Hayatou, Carl Enow Ngatchu and Jules Mejime, all pioneer executives of the Cameroon National Football Academy, ANAFOOT, have been installed into office.
Issa Hayatou, Carl Enow Ngatchu and Jules Mejime were installed as the Board chair, Director General and Deputy Director General respectively.
Their installation on Monday, June 5 was conducted by Bidoung Mpkatt, Minister of Sports and Physical Education at the Yaoundé Multi-purpose Sports Complex.
While installing the trio, Minister Bidoung Mpkatt urged the executives to get to work immediately. ANAFOOT’s first directors are expected to effectively manage the academy, which was created by President Biya in 2010 in the bid to promote and professionalise football.
President Paul Biya, had on Wednesday May 24 signed a degree appointing the trio. ANAFOOT, is a public agency dedicated to promoting professional football in Cameroon.
