Female Bikutsi artist k-Tino plans to pay tribute late guitarist Tino Baroza.
The funeral of guitarist emeritus Tino Baroza will officially take place from May 30 to June 1.
Before the burial of the legendary guitarist, artists wish to pay him homage with a string of melodies.
One of such artists is his former companion K-Tino and his close friend Gilbratar Drakus, were facing the press on May 8, 2019, to decline the contours of this tribute to music.
According to the latter, a series of concerts will be held from 10 to 30 May 2019 at the Cabaret le Carrosel, Hommes D’honneurs, among others.
Apart from K-Tino and Gilbratar Drakus, several other artists from the current and past scene of the Bikusti, as well as many virtuosos of the Cameroonian music scene in general, will pay tribute in songs to the artist, before his burial.
The removal of the corpse of Tino Baroza will take place on May 30, at 2 pm local time at Jamot Hospital in Yaoundé. There will be a city tour, as well as an artistic vigil at the Nkoldongo Party House, before leaving for the Okoa Village on the Soa Road, where he will be buried.
