Southwest Regional League side Continental FA picked the lone ticket in Pool B for the Southwest Mini Interpools tournament.

The Gra Gra Boys of former Indomitable Lions player, Essa Pius had the dark horse status since the commencement of the championship months ago. Despite a first round that saw them picking fewer points, the Gra Gra Boys picked up steam in the second round of the championship.

Going into the last day of play at the fourth position with 13 points in 9 games and little hopes of qualifying, a win against then first position CUSA did the magic.

With CUSA beaten with 16 points, Buea United and EEMSA sharing spoils, three clubs had 16 points after the last day of play. Applying the head to head rule amongst CUSA, Continental FA and EEMSA, it was Continental that had the upper hand. The results meant Continental FA had 6 points , CUSA 5 and EEMSA 5.

Other clubs that qualified for the Southwest Mini Interpools are LIFCA, NQSA and PWD Kumba.
