We will prepare well for Cameroon match on Saturday – Jonathan Mensah

Black Stars defender, Jonathan Mensah has indicated that Ghana is going to prepare very well ahead of the team’s second Group F match against Cameroon in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Egypt.

The Black Stars have a daunting task ahead of them if they are to progress into the knockout stage of the continental showpiece following their 2-2 draw with the Squirrels of Benin on Tuesday evening.

Up next for them in Group F, they are expected to come up against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon this weekend.

Speaking in a post-match interview after the Benin draw, Columbus Crew defender Jonathan Mensah shared that Ghana will keep their focus and work hard towards their next game to ensure they amass all three points.

“One is okay because at the end of the day we didn’t lose the game so we will keep working and focus on the next game”.

“It did because playing with a man down is always difficult so we will make sure we will get it right next time. We will go back to the drawing board and work on Cameroon”, the defender said.

The Ismailia Stadium will host the match between Ghana and Cameroon on Saturday, June 29, 2019.
