One of the major sponsors of this year’s Middle Farms Dust field interquarters football jamboree, Derek Sakwe Ndinde believes the competition is getting bigger and better each passing year.

The South Africa based entrepreneur has a long-lasting romance with the tournament and has always invested time, energies and resources geared at jealously safeguarding its prestige and honour.

” I grew up here and this competition has a special place in my heart. I will be doing injustice to my myself if I don’t safeguard the pride and honour of this competition.

“Make no mistake this tournament has become a factory for talents and the quality of today’s performance has given rebirth to hope that what appears good today may be superseded by something better tomorrow”

The traditional soccer party kicked off on 7th June, with last year winners Samba Fc losing 2-1 to All-Stars FC with a record crowd in attendance.

Twelve teams are cutting their footballing teeth at the tournament with the winner to back home FCFA 500,000 donated by Derek Sakwe Ndinde.

Plenty of innovations have been announced this year.

Teams that will qualify for the knockout stages of the competition will receive a set of jerseys.

The will also be increased in the amount of money for all individual awards like the Most valuable player of the tournament, top scorer, best coach and the Man of the match awards.

A prize for the best fan club is also on the agenda

Giving back to his community has been the diet of Derek Sakwe and the donor plans to do more in the future.
