The President of LIFCA Tchio Thomas feels his charges have what it takes to end the City of Limbe long overdue wait for elite two football.
Under experienced gaffer Agbor Ernest the club has fully restored its fear factor and the President believes his club has shown this term that they have the character, strength and bravery to be in the top flight next season.
With victory in their veins they can stop staying true to their pedigree.
” We understand the great responsibility to the people of Limbe, which is a football crazy town par excellence that historically has produced great stars, we will give everything to ensure that we go to the next level by approaching each game wih intensity and with our strength,” Tchio Thomas has said.
In two years the Limbe based side have gone from revelation to reality.Their slow but steady rise to football respectability are indications that this campaign can be a fairytale with a happy ending.
” Our goal is to approach each game with a positive mindset, to win games and make our fans proud. We shall continue to respect our opponents because we don’t have monopoly of victory. If we remain focused, we will realize our dream” he added.
The President hopes Lifca continues its impressive form when the Southwest regional league playoffs gets underway on June 13, 2019.
“Our form so far has been good . We only hope and pray the blue moon continue to rise” he further explained.
With a string of important matches coming up Lifca as they enter the business end of the season aiming Elite two qualification starting with a tricky game against Continental Fc of Buea.
