Ndip Tambe Wins Moldovan Championship With Sheriff Tiraspol

Cameroon international and Sheriff Tiraspol striker Robert Ndip Tambe helped his side Sheriff Tiraspol wins their 18th league title.

The Wasps as they are fondly called earned a spot in the first qualifying round of the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League.

They played a total of 28 games, winning 22, suffering defeat in just two games and a draw in four. This saw them ending the league with 70 points while 53 points Sfântul Gheorghe came second.

Meanwhile, since joining Moldovan side Sheriff Tiraspol on January 24, 2019 on a year-long loan from Romanian side CFR Cluj, Tambe had made 22 appearances scoring nine times.

Ndip Tambe won the 2017 Africa Nations Cup, AFCON, with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

He is the fourth top goalscorer with 9 goals, while first top scorer Yury Kendysh has 13 goals.
