Coach Daniel Walinjom has bemoaned bad officiating in his side’s 1-1 draw against Lifca on Sunday.
The newly promoted Southwest Regional League side took the lead in the opening exchanges after Lifca’s backline was caught napping but conceded a late equalizer from a spot kick.
Coach Daniel Walinjom expressed unhappiness after the match stating that they were meant to win were it not for favours from the referee who awarded a controversial late penalty.
” I’m are not happy with the conduct of today’s officiating.We came in stronger but sincerely poor officiating rid the game after an imaginary penalty was awarded to Lifca.
“They are killing the game if appropriate and decisive measures are not taking this region will continue to send the wrong teams to the national playoffs”, Coach Daniel Walinjom told reporters after the absorbing contest.
Both sides will definitely meet again in the future for the group decider with Future Stars Academy not cast as a favourite to go beyond the group stage.
