It was a bad day for EEMSA 22 as the junior side were demolished by Buea United FC 5-1 in the first round preliminary fixture of the Cup of Cameroon for the Southwest Region that took place at the Limbe Community Field.

Despite playing 10 against 11 due to licence problems, the EEMSA junior side put on a tough show against Buea United in the first segment of the game.

Buea United FC opened their goal-scoring account at the 7th minute into the encounter after marksman Amih Renzo got the curtain-raiser. However, EEMSA 22 levelled the scoreline at the 21st minute to make it 1-1.

It will be the side from the inferior league that continues to mount pressure as their inexperience saw them squandering many of their chances.

When play will resume in the second segment of the game, Buea United FC put on a formidable show. Making EEMSA 22 players chase more of their shadows than the ball, it was time for the goal festival to begin.

Zebedee Mukete made it 2-1 for Buea United and five minutes later Lionel Ayukegbe Agbor that will make it 3-1.

With EEMSA 22 players showing signs of running short of steam, Buea United capitalised on this as goals continue to rain at the Limbe Community Field. It will later end 5-1 with Amih Renzo and Roberto Masanje also finding the back of the net.
