The Chairman of Buea United Victor Etchi Enow is refreshingly realistic about the scale of the challenge that awaits the club this season however confident his developing charges now have the stamina to launch a long-overdue assault on the league title this campaign.
He was speaking on the sidelines of Buea United 5-1 demolition of Eemsa on Saturday in the Cup of Cameroon preliminary round.
‘The task ahead is difficult though exciting. We have done a lot to strengthen the club during the offseason and with the good mental strength and character there is no limit to our expectations this season’ Etchi Enow explained.
Heavy cash injections have made Buea United a growing football firm in Cameroon and while progress has been made both on and off the pitch Victor Etchi Enow is keen to take the club to the next level to justify their growing reputation.
‘ Every match gives us a chance to measure how far we have come. The performance today shows we have quality and the strength in depth in fight wars on so many fronts.
Buea United would on Tuesday know their next opponent in the Southwest playoffs of the Cup of Cameroon.
