The Gra Gra Boys of Continental Football Academy started their 2019/2020 season with a goal festival as they demolished rivals Dynamic FC in a nine-goal thriller.
The opener of the season in Pool A of the Southwest Regional championship turns out to be an easy ride for the Gra Gra Boys as they showed no mercy to their opponents.
The opener of the game that will later become a goal festival started at the 10th minute when Robert Koneyi at the 10th minute got the curtain-raiser. At the 36th minute, Dieudonne Younyi will make it 2-0.
Been down 2-0, Dynamic FC will finally reduce the tally to 2-1 through Boris Achuo Tem at the 45th minute before both sides go on recess.
When play resumed in the second stanza, it took just two minutes for a goal to start raining at the Molyko Stadium as Robert Koneyi got his brace at the 47th minute to make it 3-1.
Egbe Nakatem will score for Dynamic FC at the 58 minutes to give them hopes of coming back into the game. However, the joy was shortlived as Blasie Njeneh, Eyong Ramson, Dieudonne Younyi and Ako Tabe Otang all got on the scoring sheet to make it 7-2.
With the results, Continental FA aka Gra Gra Boys are now first in Pool A ahead of Buea United FC thanks to their goal difference.
