Paul-Georges Ntep

Cameroon international Paul-Georges Ntep has left German Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.

Wolfsburg have terminated the winger’s contract by mutual consent according to BBC Sport after he managed just 19 appearances in three years.

The 27-year-old spent the last few months on loan at Turkish Super Lig club Kayserispor, but had his stay cut short due to reported financial problems after just nine appearances across all competitions.

Ntep first made a name for himself at AJ Auxerre where his talents resulted in several caps for France at youth level. He duly moved on to Stade Rennais in 2014, scoring 18 goals in 81 games before joining Wolfsburg.

He also played 13 times for Saint-Etienne during a season-long loan spell at the French Ligue 1 club.

Ntep has been capped four times by the Indomitable Lions since switching his allegiance back to the West African country.
