League 1 Golden Shoe: Boyomo, Assiga In Tough Race

The League 1 Golden Shoe race this season is set to be one of the toughest with PWD of Bamenda’s forward Leon Boyomo and Canon of Yaoundé’s Alphonse Kevin Assiga currently tied with 10 goals each.

With the league in matchday 24, both strikers continue to find the back of the net as the season closes to an end.

Boyomo will be returning to PWD of Bamenda squad after spending some time with the Intermediate Lions and will be looking forward to increasing his goal-scoring account.

They are closely followed by YOSA’s Tongua Armel Emmanuel with nine goals and Union of Douala’s Nlend Samuel with eight goals.

With seven goals are 7 Goals:Thierry Tchuente (Cotonsport), Gael Gregoire Nkama (TKC), Francis Elimbi (Colombe), Jean Emmanuel Chamjou Nguewawe (UMS), Man Ykre Dangmo (Colombe), Mfegue Georges (Avion Academy) and Tamo Giresse (Stade Renard)
