Hilaire Onana Academy FC’s forward Yannick Tinen Fokou is optimistic that his side will continue in winning ways after their victory against Dynamic FC on Thursday, February 27.
The Buea based side failed to win two of their games in the championship despite high expectations from fans.
However, the club bounced to winning ways as they walloped Dynamic FC 7-0 to pick their first three points and moved fourth on the log six points behind league leaders Continental FA.
Tinen Fokou is confident that his side will carry the same spirit when they confront Pool leaders Continental FA that is still to suffer a defeat.
Hear him: “We had a responsibility of winning our first match after we failed to win the first two games in the championship. Despite losing two games, we had been working harder and today we were rewarded with a win.
“I will like to use this opportunity to thank our coaches and the staff for always believing in us during difficult moments.
“Also, I wish to thank the club president who has been behind us despite all the defeats encouraging and today hard work has paid off.
We will remain focused since presently we can not give any room to mistakes. We will continue working harder as we have always done and I think on Sunday victory is ours.”
