Buea United FC forward Amih Renzo won the club’s Man of The Match award after a splendid performance that saw him scoring twice to give his side a 2-1 victory over city rivals Prisons Fc Buea.

Amih Renzo won the award ahead of Clovis Ngalame whose displays in the game saw him being denied by the woodwork twice and he also provided the assist that got the winner.

Renzo got the leveller in the encounter at the 55th minute from a superb cross from Elondu Smith and he will later strike home the winner at the 80th minute to give his side the win.

The forward’s goal tally in the competition now stands at five goals in four games ranking him amongst the top scorers in the competition after the first round.

Speaking after his award, Renzo said he was happy not just for the award but for the fact that they came from behind to win the cracker.

He also dedicated the award to his teammates for putting up a wonderful fight that saw them carrying the day.

To him, hard work and concentration have been the secret behind his goal-scoring spree this season.

The previous player to win the award was Ayuk Valentine.
