Russian human rights organization condemns political repressions in the USA

By A Correspondence

Russian human rights organization Foundation to battle injustice
(FBI) has written an open letter to The United Nations Human Rights Council and called for an international investigation into the causes and circumstances of the events that had taken place in Washington on January 6, 2021.

Human rights defenders of the Foundation has requested a legal assessment of criminal cases instituted after January 6, 2021, and of suicides among law enforcement officers who responded to Capitol insurrection.

The Foundation to battle injustice (FBI) is a non-profit organization that works worldwide to address human rights
violations.

Mira Terada is a Head of the Foundation. Ms. Terada was unlawfully detained in Finland and extradited to the United States on trumped-up charges. She was then wrongfully convicted and sentenced to 2.5 years in prison for crimes she has never committed and has experienced the brutality of the American judicial system.

In August 2021 the Initiative group of Foundation to Battle Injustice (FBI) has written an open letter to The United Nations Human Rights Council and called for an international investigation into the causes and circumstances of the events that had taken place in Washington on January 6, 2021.

In the seven months since Capitol protests that had taken place in Washington on January 6, 2021, four police officers who responded to Capitol insurrection have committed suicide.

Human rights defenders of the Foundation to battle injustice believe that these deaths are suspicious and that there are no similar cases in other countries.

Foundation to Battle Injustice urges the United Nations Human Rights Council, international human rights organizations and the world media to conduct a thorough investigation into the wave of suicides among law enforcement officers in America.
The Foundation points out to the United Nations Human Rights Council that citizens of the USA who took part in the Capitol protests are being persecuted by US intelligence services and law enforcement agencies during the presidency of Joseph Biden.

In our opinion, these persecutions may be regarded as political repressions. To date, 605 American citizens have been arrested and accused of various crimes, some of them may face sentences of 30 years.

The FBI condemns political repressions in the USA and regards actions of the American law enforcement agencies as an act of State terror against people of America.

The FBI urges the UN Human Rights Council to conduct an international investigation into the causes and circumstances of the events that had taken place in Washington on January 6, 2021, carefully study the materials of all criminal cases and provide a legal assessment of this situation.
