Back To School: Destiny Restoration Puts Smiles On Faces Of Less Privileged

By Basil K Mbuye

Destiny Restoration of Fako League side Destiny Restoration Sports Academy shared didactic materials to less privileged at the Motowo neighbourhood in Limbe, recently.

A gesture which is performed for the second time by Destiny Restoration is aimed at preparing these children for the new school year.

By this, the children close to 200 of them were given exercise books, pens, pencils, school bags amongst others. To some that have cases that are not the best, their fees were paid. The children who benefited from this gesture will also be monitored throughout the school year by following up on their progress.

President of Destiny Restoration Jesse Enow

Speaking during the handing of these didactic materials to the kids, President Jesse Enow said: “The motivation is to help the less privileged because we believe that helping others achieve their objectives is good. It’s thanks to the contributions from others that I am who I am today. I believe it’s the best time for me to give back to the community.”

Advising the children, Enow said, “…what we give these children is not enough but it is to encourage them so that they can learn well. I wish them the best of luck”.

Meanwhile, Destiny Restoration is an association based in Limbe that is out to help talented children who do not have the means to achieve their objectives in life. This, they do by providing the didactic materials and also enrolling them into the Destiny Restoration Sports Academy so that they can achieve their dreams
