The lead shepherd and visionary of Revive Christian Church International,RCC, Bishop Elect Pius Inobuh Bah says Investing in today’s youth is necessary in growing the body of Christ.
He was speaking on Tuesday during the launching of the RCC summer youth camp at the ministry’s headquarters in Limbe.
Addressing the youths, Bah Pius said impacting the lives of young people can not only prepare them to become future leaders but also allow them to contribute to the church.
He stressed that helping the youths grow spiritually in their formative years will better equip them to make an impact both now and in the future.
Dwelling on this year’s theme ‘I’m destined for the top’ Bah Pius noted that youths need guidance and support as they navigate through the most challenging part of their development to reach their full potentials.
On her part the Youth Coordinator of Revive Christian Church International, Rev Meralyne Wase said the fun filled youth camp is destined to provide loads of fun but also fosters spiritual growth and build friendship.
The close to 60 campers aged between 5 and 20 from across the Southwest and Littoral Regions of Cameroon expressed the burning desire for spiritual, intellectual and social enrichment in the course of the six-day event.
Topics ranging from essentials of Intergrity, career development, mental health issues, evangelism the heart beat of God, dating and marital choices, juvenile justice system in Cameroon, and social media time snatcher among others would be taught in the course of the program.
The youth camp which is set to wrap up on Sunday also has tourism and recreational games as part of its calendar of activities.
